Waste or Want #12: Wipes Warmer

Description: Warms wipes so cold wipes aren't used on baby's bum.
Cost: $15 to $40

On the one hand for little boys, it is nice to have a warm wipe to stick over them so they don't pee on you while changing their diaper. Also cold wipes don't seem like then would be fun

On the other hand while it is nice to have warm wipes, you do have to replace the pillow in them to keep the wipes from going brown and it seems like an extra step on the diaper changing process.

and now cast your vote!

Waste or Want?

Don't forget to tell us why!

I have a wipes warmer (it was a gift) and the novelty of it was great for the first couple of months with my son, but it quickly wore off when I had to start changing the pillow thing in it so the wipes wouldn't be brown. So, for me it's a total waste.

I have one too (also a gift). I guess the idea of it is cool...but having to lug my dirty-diaper baby all they way back to my one wipes warmer got old really quickly. I prefer to stash a few diaper/wipe stations strategically all over the house. So for me, a waste.

I received one as a gift and never used it. To be honest, I didn't want my son to start preferring warm wipes because they aren't always convenient. Nice idea, though.

I'd have to say waste, too. I've never used one, but the idea seems just a little...unnecessary, I guess. The wipes aren't in contact with skin all that long anyway, and I don't think they generally get that cold when you're in the house, and when you're out, you're not going to carry around a wipe warmer, so it's really not worth it.

Waste... I agree. :) Never had one, but still, what's the point??
