Friday Funnies: Guest Post #2

Our guest post today comes from a mother of three girls, ages 3 1/2, 2, and 5 months. Busy busy! At least she has her oldest to keep her laughing!

POTATO/ POTAHTO

A few weeks ago we took our girls to an indoor amusement park near our house to try and beat the rainy day blues. My girls were in heaven! Turns out they are major adrenaline junkies! As *Bug was spinning round and round on one of the rides my husband, who was riding with her, said, "Say Yipee Yi Yo Kai-Yay!" Boo immediately shouted "YIPEE! I'M A CUPCAKE!"

TATTLE TALE!

While I'm at work my mom watches my kids for me. One day she came into the kitchen to find that Boo and Bug had helped themselves to two gargantuan bowls of ice cream...
Grandma: "Um... girls, what are you doing?"
Bug: "Eating ice cream."
Grandma: "Why?"
Bug: "We're staaaaaaaaarving!"
Grandma: "Well, did you eat your breakfast this morning?"
Bug: "No. My mom doesn't feed us EVERY day!"
Grandma: "She doesn't feed you every day?"
Bug: "Nope. Well... she did one time, but not the other times."

For the record: I DO feed my children!

DREAM SWEET DREAMS

Bug has a new best friend. It's the dad figurine from a dollhouse I used to have when I was little. She refers to it as her man. You can imagine the strange looks I get in the grocery store when other customers overhear statements from my three year old like, "Mom, my man and I are hungry. We're gonna make Waffles. " or "Mom, have you seen my man? I can't find my man anywhere!"

The other night as Bug was saying her prayers she said, "And please bless that me and my man will sleep well tonight and have good dreams that will nourish and strengthen our bodies."
