Requests from Our Readers Week 27

This week we are talking about sibling LOVE. :) Check out what our reader said....

"My son is 20 months old and my daughter is 5 months old. They get along well, but sometimes my toddler loves my baby a little too much. Any tips on keeping the baby from being attacked with affection?"

So help her out!
How do you keep that over enthusiastic toddler away from their sibling yet give them the chance to show affection?
How much do you let your toddler help out with the baby?

Thanks for the reader request. Keep them coming!!

That is a hard age. You could emphasize how much the baby loves her toes to be kissed. Then the tough love would be directed toward a sturdier part of her body. Good luck. Sorry I don't have much more advice.

Yeah, I don't have much to add to this either. I've got three kids, and my 4-year-old and 2-year-old really love on my baby. It's the most irritating thing about having three young children. My baby is really tolerant and patient and handles it well. I just try to teach my girls to notice his signs of irritation and stop pestering him then.
